[ Well, after All Of That, Wei Wuxian is now forced into bed in the Kakapo cabana. He doesn't look too happy about it and even insists on sitting up, but at least he's complying. ]

...I should be fine to be up and about in a few hours' time.

[chosenwang]

[ He is thinking thoughts when Wei Wuxian says that. ]

While I don't doubt your ability to bounce back fairly quickly, I am still tempted to tie you down.

[ Sitting on the edge of the bed. ]

Just to keep others from worrying about you. [ You know like everyone who was fussing over him earlier ]

[ Wang Lu is the most valid person here... He gets bed rights because Psyche can't seem to settle, pacing the length of the cabana restlessly. ]

I think you should. There must be something we can use here.

[ She's not serious. Probably. ]

Now, now. I'm much too ill for that kind of activity.

[ He's... trying to make light of the situation. Is it working? ]

[ Psyche, honey. He'll hold out a hand for her. ]

You said you should be fine in a few hours. We can always try then. [ Giving a wink. ] Maybe we can use the sheets?

[ She gives his hand a long look of consideration, but she finally circles back to reach for it. Sitting down very lightly on the bed beside him, trying not to crowd. ]

Like the kind you make to climb out a window? We can do that.

I promise I'll be good. There's no need to tie me down.

[ Also he'll just try to wiggle his way out of it anyway.

He sighs and flops back down on the bed, only for that action to give him another coughing fit. ]

week 5, post trial

[ Who knows if one can start a group text, so he'll just send these out individually: ]

meet me at karaoke. i'm in the room with the music playing. just open the doors and you'll find me

[ They will both find Wei Wuxian reclining on one of the couches in one of the rooms, drinking a bottle of soda and blasting music. ]

[chrysaline]

[ The music... gives her pause. She really hasn't been to the karaoke before, but this is. New. A little jarring.

After a moment she'll slip inside to go settle by his side. ]

Should I have brought anything...?

[ He looks like he wants something a little stronger than the soda, honestly. ]

[chosenwang]

[ That's an interesting choice of songs.

He's pretty tired himself as he walks in and heads straight for the couch the other is reclining on. Reaching over to grab the soda he's drinking from to steal a drink. ]

Something stronger would have been nicer.

[ Does Psyche want to try some as well? ]

[ He'll let Wang Lu take his soda, even if he does frown. It's fine, though, because he adjusts his position enough that his head lands on Psyche's lap. ]

I wasn't planning on getting drunk, but you can let Wei-gege take care of you.

[ With this loud music and the disco ball hanging over head, it even feels like a club.

A sad one, but one nevertheless. ]

Are you both doing alright?

[ Well... she can't very well offer to get Wang Lu a bottle now that she's pinned. She smiles a little over at both of them and runs her fingers through Wei Wuxian's hair. ]

I don't mind keeping an eye on you both.

[ His question, though... There's a long silence which isn't either answer or evasion. She's still thinking. Wang Lu gets a little sidelong glance that says "not it." ]

It wouldn't be fun if it was only me.

[ Also wao don't not it him. Giving her a look and he'll tap his own mouth to say she didn't actually call it. He'll give Wei Wuxian his drink back before helping himself to sitting on his legs. ]

It's the usual numbness that one feels after these events. [ At least for him it is. He's tired but he's still in don't feel mode until he's sure no one else is falling into pieces ]

...Ah, don't make me seriously consider it.

[ Wei Wuxian pries his legs out from underneath Wang Lu so he can drape them over his lap instead. Now he's in possession of two (2) laps. ]

Numbness is a good way to describe it. I'm worried about everyone, but... I'm tired of all of this at the same time.

[ Time to head back to the cabanas while Temenos is still talking to Beel. ]

I have a feeling I will be elbowed against if I don't keep my word. [ He's bringing it up first at least! Does he get points? ] I do promise, it might not be as it appears.

[ He raises his eyebrows. ]

He asked if I would let him kiss me and I told him that I didn’t think he would do it.

[ In other words, he pulled a major Wei Wuxian with this situation and then still had the audacity to pull the same shit with Wang Lu. ]

I didn’t even realize I liked men until that moment.

[ He actually chokes at that. He has no shame, but did you have to just jump to it. ]

We were taking a walk, while talking about what actions we should take to keep everyone safe. As you very much know, he can be charming. You also know how I can be. [ Look at their whole game of gay chicken until it was no longer a game ]

He asked for a kiss and then asked for more.

[ He shrugs. ]

[ Also because Merlin would have absolutely topped him, but everyone in this PC knows that he'll never be topping. ]

That doesn't surprise me much. Our conversation on the beach went in a similar direction, but I'm not interested in sleeping with someone if I don't have feelings for them and I'm sure he could gather that. I hope it was enjoyable, at least.
