But yes, I do. A lot of us were invited to go study with another Sect that's extremely strict, so much so that their disciples aren't allowed to drink alcohol. So naturally, I snuck some in while I was there.

While I do think she's amazing, I don't think anyone should have the misfortune of meeting her. [ There's a pause as he looks WWX over ] You have a face she'd like a bit too much.

I’d hope not. But what was it like? My own Sect was near a beautiful lake and lots of people going about their business every day.

Beautiful, but a bit too far from people for my liking. It's on top of a mountain range away from normal people. I'm a bit envious of you for that. [ He wants to be where the people are ] The Spirit Blade Sect is one of the top five Sects out there. What about yours? Was it impressive?

Essentially, yes. I took a stand against one of the other big Sects, so it was for the best for my own Sect that I be kicked out.

It takes a lot of courage to do something like that. [ Even if he doesn't agree with his Sect kicking him out cause hello? ] What was the other Sect doing?

They had remnants of a Sect that tried to take over everyone else working at an outpost. These remnants had nothing to do with the war as they were all sick or elderly, so working them to death served no purpose other than cruelty.

[ He sighs. ]

I didn't go about this in the best way, I'll admit. I killed cultivators from that Sect.

[ There's more to it because there always is with these sorts of things, but he thinks Wang Lu will at least understand part of the reason why he was kicked out. ]

I may be missing something, but a large Sect that bullies the innocent deserves to be punished. It's so easy for those in power to take advantage. [ Shaking his head. He's seen it as well ]

I don't know if I would have gone about it in a better way. [ One never knows when they are in that situation how they would handle it ] Was your Sect worried about saving face then? [ That seems... messed up. ]

[ He sighs. ]

To put it simply, yes. My Sect was being rebuilt from the ground up. My actions only made it harder for them to continue on, so I decided to leave.

[ There's clearly a whole lot more to it, but he can't just go around telling his life story to everyone... not yet. ]

That would make it difficult for your Sect. [ This feels like there could be a misstep if he pushes, so he'll shift the topic. ] Did you become a patriarch after that? [ His username has been the most curious thing since boy you're so young ]

[ Wang Lu is right about that, but hopefully there’s time yet for him to push another day. ]
