Beautiful, but a bit too far from people for my liking. It's on top of a mountain range away from normal people. I'm a bit envious of you for that. [ He wants to be where the people are ] The Spirit Blade Sect is one of the top five Sects out there. What about yours? Was it impressive?
It takes a lot of courage to do something like that. [ Even if he doesn't agree with his Sect kicking him out cause hello? ] What was the other Sect doing?
They had remnants of a Sect that tried to take over everyone else working at an outpost. These remnants had nothing to do with the war as they were all sick or elderly, so working them to death served no purpose other than cruelty.
[ He sighs. ]
I didn't go about this in the best way, I'll admit. I killed cultivators from that Sect.
[ There's more to it because there always is with these sorts of things, but he thinks Wang Lu will at least understand part of the reason why he was kicked out. ]
I may be missing something, but a large Sect that bullies the innocent deserves to be punished. It's so easy for those in power to take advantage. [ Shaking his head. He's seen it as well ]
I don't know if I would have gone about it in a better way. [ One never knows when they are in that situation how they would handle it ] Was your Sect worried about saving face then? [ That seems... messed up. ]
That would make it difficult for your Sect. [ This feels like there could be a misstep if he pushes, so he'll shift the topic. ] Did you become a patriarch after that? [ His username has been the most curious thing since boy you're so young ]
[ He isn't sure if he should be insulted or not. ]
Really? I can commit to a person... [ Shaking his head ]
We wound up taking different paths in life. Besides, it wouldn't work out if only one of us had a longer life span. [ Such is the life of a cultivator ]
[ Well, as long as neither of them regret it. He thinks that’s the most important thing here. ]
No. [ A very sure, quick answer. ] I don’t know that I even have any romantic prospects in the first place. Who would want to stay with a troublemaking cultivator that raises the dead? It’s for the best that I’ve had nothing.
[ He isn’t sad about it either. It just… is the way things have shaken out for him. ]

I’d hope not. But what was it like? My own Sect was near a beautiful lake and lots of people going about their business every day.
[ He misses it, truthfully, but that doesn’t matter anymore. ]
weh lotus pier
:crymeow:
[ On top of a mountain without three thousand rules? Sign him up! ]
The Yunmeng Jiang Sect was also one of the top five, actually. Are you one of the top disciples of yours?
touches the ground remembering jc gave himself up
[ Giving a wink. He's sure there's a rule against it, but he can figure a loophole ]
I am. Went from Sect Mascot to one the best. [ r u impressed ] Let me guess...you're one of the top ones as well?
i am ALWAYS thinking about this
Ah, good work! [ Wei Wuxian grins. ] That’s right! I was the top disciple before leaving.
the brothers are so dumb for each other just weh
Did you leave for creative differences? [ Or you know... cultivation differences ]
they areeeeee aaaaaaa
Essentially, yes. I took a stand against one of the other big Sects, so it was for the best for my own Sect that I be kicked out.
lays here
joins you
[ He sighs. ]

To put it simply, yes. My Sect was being rebuilt from the ground up. My actions only made it harder for them to continue on, so I decided to leave.
[ There's clearly a whole lot more to it, but he can't just go around telling his life story to everyone... not yet. ]
you can drop this if you would like sorry so late
That would make it difficult for your Sect. [ This feels like there could be a misstep if he pushes, so he'll shift the topic. ] Did you become a patriarch after that? [ His username has been the most curious thing since boy you're so young ]
slam dunks a tag back to you
I did. I’ve had six children since I’ve left my Sect.
[ Said very, very seriously. ]

For a perfect and refined example of a man, you've certainly been busy. How do you manage to feed all of those mouths?
no subject
[ He studies Wang Lu back, trying to determine if he’s being taken seriously.
Regardless, he can’t help breaking out into a grin. ]

It must be so stressful doing all of that budgeting. No wonder you have the fortitude to drink! Do you keep in contact with all of the moms?

Or are you looking for advice?

On juggling women? There's no need. I did have a fiancee in the past.

[ Sorry, Wang Lu, but he’s very, very surprised. ]
What happened?

[ Very thoughtful reasons too, honestly. ]
Did you get along well? It must have been a shame to part ways.
no subject
We did, but it was for the best. We're still friends and neither of us regret the choice we made.
[ ANYWAYS ]
What about you? Was there anyone special or could have been in your life?
