Jealousy has never helped anyone, and it certainly wouldn’t help me. I’m fine with the way things have gone for me, so I have no reason to feel it. And in the end, if I’m the one you pick over him, then I don’t care about what’s happened before.

[ Her hands press a little more firmly against his cheeks in surprise, but she kisses him back without hesitation, a tiny smile tugging at her lips. That, and the look of surprise... she was completely right, wasn't she? And he's somehow a bit startled by that. That's a giddy feeling, a sense of accomplishment. She wants to understand everything about him. ]

[ He pulls back, smiling. ]

Give yourself more credit when it comes to this sort of thing.

[ Oh, she looks like she's giving herself all the credit in the world right now. The giddiness is all over her expression as she smiles back at him. ]

[ He laughs softly. ]

[ Medea is always having to pry her off... she knows she's a little clingy. ]

[ He grins, leaning in to kiss her again. ]

[ She smiles and loops her arms lightly around his shoulders, kissing back. ]

I'll really test how long you can keep up with me, then.

[ Threat and promise. If he's going to let her go to her limit, she will. ]

Aren't you tenacious?

[ He laughs, having no doubt that she's speaking the truth. ]

You have to say that now, if you're stuck with me.
