[ Once the meeting has wrapped up and everyone is off to their own devices, Wei Wuxian makes a point to tug onto Wang Lu's robes (or shirt, if he's decided to wear something else) and pull him aside. ]

I was serious about that drink.

[ Let's go robes because his five or six layers is hilarious. ]

Is there a special occasion or did you just want to hog me to yourself?

Hahaha! The special occasion can be hanging out, can’t it?

[ Don’t mind him as he makes his way behind the bar, rummaging through whatever Zelkov used. ]

[ Hmmmm. Time to figure out what alcohol goes well with it. ]

[ Just going to pull up a stool and sit down to watch him ]

It was a day to celebrate the dead but it has changed to a holiday about dressing up in a costume and giving out candy.

Never once that I've seen. Maybe you're actually part leo at heart. Not sure about needing to work to understand and accept one another, unless you count the beginning our relationship. [ Where Wei Wuxian was wary for a good reason. ]

[ He doesn't lean away from that, instead sinking a bit further so that his head is nearly resting on the bar counter. ]

[ Studying him for a moment before he takes a drink. ]

It's pretty tasty. Want to try? [ Offering the cup over ] I may not always show it, but I am glad to have earned your trust.

[ He stands back up straight and reaches for the cup, taking a sip without much thought. ]

Hmm... not bad. Could use some more alcohol, though.

[ But he isn't trying to get either of them shitfaced right now, so it's fine as is. ]

It's quite hard to earn my trust. You should feel accomplished.

[ Getting shitfaced sounds pretty good now. He will take his cup back and looks at the rim a moment ]

Maybe later. Are you making yourself something?

[ Then he'll take another drink ]

I do! I feel like I've gotten quite the treasure from it. No one else would have helped me tease Xiao like you do.

[diabolizes]

Hmm, maybe later.

[ For now, he'll go back to slouching against the bar counter. ]

Surely that can't be all that you consider a treasure?

[ Why the slouching? Reaching over with his free hand to poke his head ]

Interesting bar decor. I do hope the top is actually cleaned.

[ He is wondering if something is wrong. There's no way he put together anything from earlier, right? ]

Are you looking for an ego boost? I'll consider it if you say please.

[ Well... Wang Lu is about to get his answer when Wei Wuxian lets out a sigh. He's beaten around the bush long enough. ]

What are your feelings toward me?

[ Sorry, that little aside with Temenos was damning. ]

[ Between his roommate and Psyche, he knew it was bound to be obvious at some point.

Looking at his cup for a moment. ]

Is that why you're trying to become one with the bar? [ A pause. ] The main feelings are that you're a dear friend who I want to see happy. You just also happen to be a very attractive dear friend who makes it easy to grow quite fond of.

[diabolizes]

[ He finally stands up straight, but he shoots a glare at Wang Lu as he reaches over and steals his drink to take a sip. ]

Tch. Bullshit. What happened to baring it all?

[chosenwang]

[ He can't help but smile at that. ]

It's a little embarrassing baring it all when it's about you. [ He may have an actual one whole embarrassment ] Expressing myself genuinely isn't something I do often, but I don't like breaking my promises.

I like you much more than I should, Wei Wuxian. I found myself rather smitten with you.

[ Ah. Exactly what he expected to hear but he’ll be damned if his heart doesn’t skip a beat anyway.

He sets Wang Lu’s drink down back in front of him. ]

I like Psyche, and I’ve told her as much. She feels the same.

[ Sorry, the torture has to continue for just a few more seconds. ]

I’ve also told her that I like you too. Liking people in this way is unfamiliar to me. Funny how it works out that I would experience this feeling twice here.
